Congressman Harry Teague’s Public Schedule for November 2, 2009

New Mexico -Congressman Teague will attend events throughout Guadalupe County this Monday, November 2^nd. The Congressman will present the owners of

V & S Variety Store in Santa Rosa and Lalo’s Liquors in Vaughn with renewable energy grants through the USDA’s Rural Energy for America Program (REAP). REAP is designed to assist farmers, ranchers and rural small businesses purchase and install renewable energy systems and make energy efficiency improvements. Representative Teague will also tour the ecosystem restoration efforts at Blue Hole Lake. Congressman Teague was able to secure $216,000 for Blue Hole Lake in the Energy and Water Development Appropriations Act. All events are open to the public and interested media are encouraged to attend.
